Dreamland Brazil is a boutique alpaca and llama farm in Viamão, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Founded by Guida Isaia Sampedro and her partner Kent, the farm is dedicated to ethical alpaca breeding, sustainable fiber production, and sharing camelid husbandry knowledge with an engaged online audience. Their mission blends animal care, community education, and innovative fiber projects into a lifestyle that inspires small farmers and fiber artists around the world.
Dreamland is home to alpacas, llamas, horses, goats, turkeys, ducks, chickens, dogs, cats, and koi fish
Their care philosophy centers on animal-first ethics, low-stress handling, and daily enrichment activities. Every animal’s health, growth, and fiber quality are carefully tracked — ensuring high-welfare alpaca and llama farming practices that also produce superior-quality fiber.
Dreamland is more than a farm — it’s building toward becoming a micro-scale alpaca fiber mill. The farm’s fiber vision includes:
The long-term goal is to position Brazilian alpaca fiber as a globally recognized sustainable luxury, while keeping full supply-chain transparency.
"My farm wouldn’t run without FarmKeep! It’s where we organize all the daily tasks and keep every medical record of our animals — especially the breeding area, since alpacas need extra care during their 12-month pregnancies. 🦙✨ It’s not only the best app, it’s also the most intuitive and beautiful one out there. Plus, the team is always ready to hear my suggestions and turn them into amazing new features. Truly a game-changer for any farm!" - Guida
As multispecies farmers, Guida and Kent use FarmKeep to track the health, breeding, and fiber production of their alpacas and llamas — along with their ducks, chickens, and other animals. FarmKeep’s livestock record keeping software allows them to:
By consolidating farm data into one platform, they save time, make more informed decisions, and have a clear digital record of their farm’s progress. For a growing boutique farm like Dreamland, this kind of organization means better animal care, stronger business planning, and higher profitability.
A Message from Guida:
The story of Dreamland began during the COVID-19 pandemic when Guida and Kent realized that living rurally could cost less — and offer far greater freedom — than an apartment in the city. A tip from Guida’s father led them to a hillside property overlooking the Itapuã State Park Reserve, where sweeping views and tranquil surroundings sparked an instant connection.
That moment of “love at first sight” turned into a purchase, and a passion for camelids quickly became a purpose. The couple traded city life for the rhythms of farm living, founding Dreamland Brazil to focus on sustainable agriculture, alpaca and llama welfare, and climate-conscious fiber production.
Guida Isaia Sampedro is a Brazilian communicator and sustainability-driven entrepreneur who swapped urban life for the rolling hills of Viamão to found Dreamland Brazil. Drawing on a decade of experience in purpose-led marketing, Guida turns her farm into an open classroom—sharing transparent data on camelid care, slow-fashion fiber experiments, and regenerative land practices with a rapidly growing online community. Her voice—equal parts scientific rigor and playful storytelling—has made Dreamland a local reference point for anyone curious about ethical alpaca and llama husbandry.
Kent Rahman—Guida’s Canadian partner and the farm’s resident “foreign gaucho”—brings an engineer’s pragmatism and a newcomer’s wonder to Dreamland. Known on Instagram for humorous reels that poke fun at cultural quirks of Rio Grande do Sul, he also handles the behind-the-scenes logistics: fencing, water systems, solar setups, and the meticulous record-keeping that underpins the farm’s open-source ethos. Kent’s cross-cultural lens and hands-on ingenuity help translate Dreamland’s sustainability vision into practical infrastructure, proving that rural resilience can be both innovative and irresistibly fun.
